Sam Weber, Lot’s Wife
All of his works have an incredible mythic quality that confers weight, history, gravitas and grace on the subject. This is real storytelling, and his ability to stir the imagination is evidenced by the many and varied editorial and literary commissions in his portfolio.
I haven’t been to a website, let alone an artists website that I have taken the time to consume entirely and felt cheated to finish in a very long time.
I chose this artwork only because the feathering effect reminded me of a technique involving chemical reactions with aluminum employed in Keith Tyson’s Mathematical Nature Paintings series. I was lucky enough to see them and more at his recent exhibition at the Victoria Miro gallery.
