Entirely handmade using scalpels, paper and two SLR cameras, this stop-frame animation by Andersen M Studio is both 2:11 of genius filmmaking and the most effective book advertising I have ever seen.
With the recent demise of Borders - which sounded another death knell for the tactile browsing book fetishists like me love so much - it’s a shame that this kind of marketing and artistic innovation isn’t evident throughout book publishing.
